Biography

In a musical world dominated by American idol and pre-packaged musical acts; Spy For Hire emerges as a reality check to the industry. Remember back before music was safe and pre-packaged? Shouldn’t music have a sense of revolution? Will the voice of the new generations truly be defined by middle aged men and corporations? Spy For Hire’s debut CD “Speak In Numbers” acts as an anthem against the status quo and a triumphant return to roots of the early days of Rock N’ Roll.

Spy For Hire’s first extended CD “Speak in Numbers” emerges as a pass- ionate musical landscape which effectually speaks to the discontented wanting of today. The opening song, “Luck” masks it’s pop undertones with raw desire. Track three, “Things Used to Be Good” with it’s bitter- sweet musings in the chorus “Don’t believe, in things you used to be proud of...” further sets the tone of a world that unfortunately must and should be questioned and the discontenments of a world gone wrong.

On track five, “Motorcycle” the power elevates into a tribal-like chant in the song’s hypnotic choruses. Speak In Numbers, is skillfully and meticulously produced by James Salter for boutique label Architek One. Spy For Hire, with “Speak In Numbers”, has created an infectious opus to the power of rock and needed return to music that matters.
